Whats new!

LearnNowBC (LNBC) has an updated Tutoring offering that is aligned with the new Math curriculum. Students will be able to benefit from this as well as teachers, who can use these resources in their classrooms.

LNBC now offers Success Checker which has replaced Study Buzz. The functionality is very similar and will be available 24/7. Students can take assessments and print out their own specific study guides based on how they did in the assessment.

LNBC has added three new subjects for Charged UP for Math & Science: Mathematics 9, Chemistry 12 and Physics 12.

Starting in November, Foundations of Mathematics & Pre-Calculus 10 video lessons will be available. The Apprenticeship and Workplace Mathematics 10 video lessons will follow later in the new year as they are developed.

LNBC will continue to offer Live Tutor Sunday to Thursday, 6:00 to 10:00 PM.

Home Connect

If your child is using Accelerated Reader at school, you are able to view your child’s progress online through a special feature called Home Connect. You will be able to view all the books your child has read and completed quizzes on while at Victoria West. It is a great site and worth visiting.
